FINGERPRINT SENSOR
A very important feature of the “Plus” version is the addition of fingerprint sensors. The Tab 4 10 Plus has its fingerprint sensor on the front as many smartphones do. While on its hand, the Tab 4 8 has its sensor situated on its side button. Well, for some people, a fingerprint sensor is reason enough to ditch the “Plain” version for the “Plus”. Is it enough reason for you?
INTERNAL STORAGE & MEMORY
Unlike the 16GB / 32GB of expandable native storage the average tab comes with, the Plus version comes with a lot more. The Lenovo Tab 4 8 & 10 Plus comes with 16GB / 64GB of storage. This same storage can be expanded too.
On the memory, they ditched the 2 GB RAM that comes with the standard version. This is upgraded to 3GB / 4GB of RAM in the “Plus” version.
CAMERA
While the standard version has a rear camera of 5 MP and a front facing camera of 2 MP. The upgraded one comes with 8 MP & 5 MP camera respectively. Quite an upgrade I must say.
PROCESSOR
The Lenovo Tab 4 8 & 10 Plus has an Octa-core processor. This was upgraded from the Quad-core processor found in the plain tab variants.
DISPLAY
In this aspect, there was a significant upgrade too. The Lenovo Tab 4 8 & 10 Plain had a 1280 * 800 pixels in screen resolution. This Plus comes with a better 1920 x 1200 pixels display resolution.
Asides all these, the two variants of the Lenovo Tab 4 8 & 10 – Plain and Plus – are somewhat similar. Same screen size, Same battery capacity, and much more like it. So tell me, would you ditch the “Plain” Lenovo Tab 4 for the “Plus”? Let’s hear your thoughts.
