LG G7 ThinQ – the upgrade to Android Pie 9.0 will only come in Q1 2024

Unlike what emerged in recent weeks, the update to Android Pie 9.0 for LG G7 ThinQ will only come during the first quarter of 2019. The Korean company has been testing the new version of Android for its top of the range for about a month but it is not yet ready to start the release of a stable version.

It should be noted that the information released by LG only concerns South Korea, the “home” market of the manufacturer. At the moment, therefore, there is no official information regarding the timing of the global release of the update to Android Pie 9.0 for LG G7 ThinQ. In any case, a further delay appears unlikely. The most realistic scenario, to date, sees the start of the rollout in the first quarter of next year also for Italy.

Recall that with Android Pie, the LG G7 ThinQ can count on the improvement of adaptive brightness management, new gestures for navigation and new functions for battery saving.  Further details about the update should arrive in the next few days or, at most, in the coming weeks when the European division of the Korean company should also divulge some more details on the update.

Meanwhile, we point out that the top of the range of LG is permanently available at a price lower than 400 Euro in our country.
