LG has recently announced two new mid-range devices, the K11 Plus and the K11 Alpha, which have a rather weak configuration but are quite expensive compared to other devices in the same segment.

These two new LG smartphones will be the successor to the LG K10 that was launched in February. Both devices will have the same hardware configuration, differing only in memory and main camera options.

As far as design goes, there are not too many highlights in a design on mid-range devices like this one. Still a complete back from solid metal like many other products. Both are not equipped with the 18 – 9 aspect ratio screen that will still use the traditional 16 – 9 screen. The resolution of this screen is also only in HD with 5.3 inches.

On the back of the LG K11 is the main camera, LED flash and fingerprint sensor at the bottom. The position of the fingerprint sensor is quite convenient for use. With K11 Plus version, the camera will have a resolution of 13MP and K11 Alpha version is only 8MP resolution. Both cameras have a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front.

In terms of configuration, the LG K11 will have pretty weak hardware with the MediaTek MT6750 chip running at 1.5GHz clock, with 3GB of RAM + 32GB of storage on the Plus and 2GB of RAM + 16GB of memory on it. Alpha version, with microSD card support. Both will run on Android version 7.1.2 Nougat is pretty old. Basically, the LG K11 Plus will be a slightly better smartphone than the “K11 Alpha” brother.

The pair will soon be distributed by LG and sold officially in certain markets under different names, particularly in some Europe countries in August. The price for this duo will be 220EUR and 270EUR, equivalent to 257 USD and 315 USD for 2 main color options are Moroccan Blue and Terra Gold.
