The LG K11 Plus was introduced in Brazil alongside the K11 Alpha as the new budget mid-range offerings from LG. The K11 Plus is the bigger sibling of the new introduction to the K series.
The Plus version packs 3GB RAM, and 32GB storage space, this is bigger compared to the 2GB RAM and 16GB storage space on the Alpha version with better camera quality as well.
Design
The K11 Plus looks exactly like the K11 Alpha in terms of design. The K series from LG are known for always looking alike, and this version didn’t fall too far from the tree.
Of course, it has a plastic back cover that has dual antenna lines, while the rear features are aligned according, including a fingerprint scanner. It’s 8.68mm thick and weighs 162g, it’s available in Blue, Black and Gold colors as well.
Display
The K11 Plus is also equipped with an older 16:9 screen just like other smartphone from the K series. The top bezels houses the selfie camera and speaker grille as well. While the screen stretches up to 69.38% screen-to-body ratio.
For your viewing pleasure, the device is built around a 5.3-inch HD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. This has a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and 277 pixel per inch density. There’s a 2.5D glass on top as well.
Hardware and Software
Under the hood, the MediaTek MT6750 chip takes centre stage with its 28nm process node. There’s an octa-core processor reaching a fast speed of 1.5GHz. While the ARM Mali-T860 MP2 graphics card comes with 2-cores and clocks at 520MHz.
You can now multitask through more apps with the 3GB RAM space available. Nonetheless, it reaches a memory speed of 667MHz as well. There’s a bigger 32GB storage space to store files as well. The K11 Plus runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.
Camera
It’s equipped with a 13MP rear camera, this has f/2.2 aperture, 1/3.06″ sensor size, 1.12 μm pixel size and a LED flash. While for selfies, there’s an 8MP selfie camera with 1/4″ sensor size and 1.12 μm pixel size.
Battery
Powering the LG K11 Plus is a 3000mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery with fast charging technology. With the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 2 hours.
