LG Launches LG G Stylo in South Korea

Just about a week, LG launched G4 flagship while we have been waiting for a new Stylus Android Smartphone from them, and here it is — the new LG G Stylo. The LG G Stylo is a 5.7-inch Phablet from LG running on the Android 5.0 Lollipop. The LG G Sylo is the successor to the LG G3 Stylus which was released last year.

The LG G Stylo will first be on sales in its home town – South Korea followed by other regions worldwide starting from May 5. A price tag has been set by LG for the G Stylo device.

The G Stylo is coupled with a 5.7-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) resolution IPS display with a pixel density of 256ppi. Since working on a near 6-inch display can be difficult for some users and just as the name implies, the LG Stylo comes with an in built stylus Pen.

A big draw will be the device’s included stylus for writing on your display, though the stylus seems to be little more than a capacitive pen the likes of which you can buy for nearly any capacitive touch screen device on Amazon. It won’t equip you with advanced features such as the Samsung Galaxy Note line’s digitized pen which can sense pressure, detect the presence of the pen when it’s hovered over the display and more.

The LG G Stylo is being launched in South Korea to start, though there’s no word on launches planned for other territories in the near future.

One awesome feature of the newly launched G Stylo is its capacity to carry up 2TB (Terabyte) microSD cards without problem. We think this is worth nothing as no microSD cards of 2TB is available anywhere. The mid-range device is powered with a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with a 1.2GHz speed laced with 1.5GB of RAM & 8GB of in-built memory which can be expandable up to 2TB via microSD cards.

The LG G Stylo measures 154.3×79.2×9.6mm and weighs 163 grams. In comparison to the LG G3 Stylus, which was launched last year in India, the G Stylo leads in almost all the sections. However, the G3 Stylus has a higher resolution 13-megapixel rear camera. In charge of the photographic function comes a crystal clear HD back camera of 8 megapixel with a front camera of 5 megapixel for selfie.

The LG G Stylo is backed with a replaceable 3000mAh battery which is considered to last longer without moving about with your charger.
