Meizu X8 goes on sale on October 15 with SoC Snapdragon 710

Meizu announced a lot of new smartphones in September, and the Meizu X8 was one of them. This is one of the few devices currently presented that have a Snapdragon 710 chipset and will be available for a very low price of around $ 259.

Meizu X8 will be available for $ 259 in China

Meizu, based in China, is finally ready to start selling the X8. It will be available on Monday, October 15 at 10 a.m., local time. The phone has been in presale since its announcement on September 19, but now is the time to get excited about its launch. That is, of course, if you are living in China, otherwise, we do not know when you are going to leave in the West.

The Meizu X8 has the dubious honor of being the first device of this company to have a notch, on top of its 6.2-inch LCD panel and resolution of 1080 × 2220 pixels. If we do not choose the basic model with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, we can choose a combo of 6GB / 64 GB for CNY 1,798 (259 dollars), or 6GB / 128 GB for CNY 1,998 (288 dollars).

The device works with Android 8.0 Oreo with the Flyme UI skin owned exclusively by Meizu. The phone has a dual rear camera of 12 MP + 5 megapixels, as well as a front camera of 20 megapixels. Meizu decided to add a 3,210 mAh battery for this phone, which should ensure a very good battery life.
