MSI Modern 15 Comes with Intel 10th Generation and MX300 Series

MSI introduced the MSI Modern 15 laptop notebook designed for content creators. While this model focuses on entry-level creators, it aims to offer high performance in addition to its low weight and affordable price.

The modern 15 laptops will currently only be available in a single option using Intel’s quad core Core i7-10510U ‘Comet Lake’ processor. This processor is accompanied by 16 GB dual channel DDR4 memory, 512 GB M.2 NVMe SSD. As a GPU, it is supported by NVIDIA’s GeForce MX330 model, which comes with the new 2 GB GDDR5 VRAM.

This laptop is located in a sub segment of MSI’s Prestige Series laptops. This means it will lack features like six-core CPUs and GeForce GTX graphics cards.

Connections are provided with a WI-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 6 adapter on the modern 15 laptop. In addition, 1 USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C connector, 1 USB 3.2 Gen 1 and 2 USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports are located. The laptop also has an HDMI output, 3.5mm audio connector and a microSD card reader. Finally, the Modern 15 has a webcam with IR sensors, Stereo speakers and a microphone.

MSI designed the laptop with a black or silver case with aluminum material. This case is 15.9 mm thick, weighs 1.6 kilograms and has a 15.6 inch Full HD panel display. The company says this computer can be used for nine hours on a full charge.

The modern 15 will be available for sale at a price of 165,000 Japanese Yen in Japan starting February 27. We expect the product to arrive in Europe and our country in the coming months. It is not yet clear whether different processor and video card options will be available.
