Netgear announces Nighthawk AX12 top-of-the-line router with Wi-Fi 6 and triple-band

Netgear Manufacturer has announced its newest high-end router, the Nighthawk AX12, which comes to the top of the line – with a list of features and price that are compatible with this task.

It brings support for advanced Wi-Fi 6 technology (formerly 802.11a), which will allow products to operate in the future on frequencies that are not yet supported in the market today – within the range of 1GHz to 7Ghz. At the moment, however, the Nighthawk arrives with support for 2 bands of 5GHz and 1 traditional of 2.4GHz.

The 5GHz range has a smaller range and is best suited for applications that rely on lower latency, such as video calls or streaming games. The 2.4GHz band is the one that is found on all routers and has a larger coverage area.

The Nighthawk AX12 uses the Netgear’s own AX11000 router, with the same 1.8GHz quad-core processor. The main difference is its support for 12 streams, which improves the reliability and speed of the wireless internet network.

According to the manufacturer, the product offers speeds of up to 10.8GBps through its wireless network. This is more than just about any internet subscription in the world, which means that it should account for any connection you have in your home for years to come.

The new Netgear router costs $ 600 ($ 2,270 in direct conversion) in international markets.
