Telegram is one of the many popular instant messaging apps available in the market across different platforms. Every now and then, developers of the app introduce new features to keep its users entertained. In light of this, the developers have added a host of new features to the latest update of the app, including features like video editor, animated stickers in photos and videos, two-step verification, cache management, and more.
Telegram has been around for 7 years, but this is the first update of the app to feature two-step verification. But as they say, better late than never. If you have a Telegram account and you really care about it, you should definitely enable the two-step verification feature after updating it to the latest version.
Another interesting feature added in the new update is the new video editor. This feature allows you to tweak a number of parameters, including brightness and saturation, to name a few. It also now lets you insert animated or videos while editing them. This means you can now convert a boring image to a GIF.
Another feature included in the new update is a brand new trending GIFs section. This section makes it even easier for you to discover new GIFs. The developers also claim to have improved loading times for GIFs in the panel.
If you use chat folders in Telegram, then you are definitely in for a treat as Telegram now gives you the option to add or remove chats in or out of any folder by simply long tapping on them.
Last but not least, Android users also get a new cache management tool. You can access this tool from Settings > Data and Storage > Storage Usage.
