Design

The OLLA M8 Plus sports a similar body design with the later. The phone’s overall body is built with a combination of glass and plastic. It measures 166.7 x 75.8 x 8.4 mm in dimension. On the panel, you will get the camera with an LED and then the company branded logo. The phone also managed to comes with a fingerprint scanner for security.

Display

On the front which is built with glass, the phone has a screen display size of 6.0-inch which is 0.23 inches bigger than the on OLLA M8. The display makes use of an IPS LCD panel and it’s needed for watching movies and other entertainment. The OLLA M8 Plus comes with a battery of 2800 mAh. As you can see, the OLLA M8 has a bigger battery than the advanced version. Opay needs to upgrade their battery because no one will like to be moving around with a power bank these days.

The phone is 200 mAh less than the one on OLLA and it does not have support for fast charging technology. You will only get the standard charging of 5W.

The OLLA M8 Plus has a dual SIM. The phone also comes with a 4G LTE network which you can use to surf the internet and also download files. Other connectivity options on the inside are Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth, A-GPS, and micro USB cable.

The OLLA M8 PLus might be the advanced version of the M8, but the device does not really meet the minimum requirement to be called a senior sibling. It’s just the camera and the screen display size, while on the main important aspect which is on the memory, processor, and power and it has nothing to show for it. So don’t be deceived, the OLLA M8 will make a better choice than this, except you are that type that loves taking photos which is where the M8 Plus has an edge.
