OnePlus 6T Cases Leaks, Shows Off Design

OnePlus 6T has seen it’s own fair share of leaks over the past few months and this will most likely continue till it’s official launch scheduled for October 17. The latest in the series of leaks are the upcoming phone’s cases which confirms basically everything about the design of the flagship. First off, is the very slim bezels and chin. There is also a water drop notch which will house the camera and other Sensors.

At the back of the case leaves just an opening for just the dual rear cameras and LED flash. This is also in line with previous leaks that points towards the in-display fingerprint or probably no fingerprint senor, just like the newly released trio of iPhones. There is also no 3.5mm jack on the case which shouldn’t come as a shocker as OnePlus CEO, Pete Lau had previously said removing the 3.5mm jack is to equip the in-display fingerprint sensor.

However, he did say that the decision has been the hardest, in his own words “IT’S ONE OF THE HARDEST DECISIONS WE HAVE TO MAKE – THE TASK OF FINDING A BALANCE BETWEEN WHAT IS NEEDED ON THE END PRODUCT AND WHAT IS FORCED TO GIVE UP IS NOT SIMPLE AT ALL.”

If these cases are indeed the final design of the device then it looks it’s bye to the 3.5mm jack and the physical fingerprint sensor. What do you think about the design and most importantly, what do you think about the removal of the 3.5mm jack ?
