OnePlus releases 7 Pro teaser, confirms name and triple-camera setup

A new teaser was released by OnePlus today and it confirms an important feature on the flagship the company is expected to release soon the OnePlus 7 Pro.

The new teaser is a video which is ten seconds long. It was share shared on Twitter by its official account about an hour ago. In the caption, the name, OnePlus 7 Pro was added which confirms the name of the upcoming device. They also added an official hashtag – #OnePlus7Pro.

In the video, there is a two-dimensional drawing of the OnePlus 7 Pro. The drawing indicates that the OnePlus 7 Pro will feature a triple camera setup on its rear. The cameras are arranged vertically in the middle of the device’s rear surface. Below the cameras is the OnePlus logo.

A few days ago, we got a leak which showed the specs of the cameras on the OnePlus 7 Pro. The phone features a 48MP primary camera on its rear paired with an 8MP f/2.4 telephoto lens and a 16MP f/2.2 ultra-wide angle lens.

According to the video shared on Twitter, the OnePlus 7 Pro is set to be launched on May 14 in New York. The launch will begin at 11 AM EDT (3 PM GMT/8:30 PM IST). It also says that the launched will be live-streamed on the official YouTube Channel. OnePlus is running a competition and winners of the competition will win a trip to New York for the launch. Apart from the triple camera setup which the OnePlus 7 Pro features on its rear, it also comes with a 90Hz display, a Snapdragon 855 processor, and a pop-up selfie camera. The phone also packs a 4000mAh battery with support for 30W Warp Charging.
