The dimensions of the Oppo Find X is 156.7 x 74.2 x 9.4 mm. While the iPhone X is slightly smaller with dimensions of 143.6 x 70.9 x 7.7 mm. The bigger Oppo Find X weighs 186 grams while the iPhone X weighs 174 grams.
The Oppo Find X has no IP certification rating and isn’t resistant to water or dust. I think it’s really bad move from Oppo, why manufacture such beauty without water/dust proof. Whereas, the iPhone X has an IP67 rating. There’s no fingerprint sensor on both smartphones, instead, they make use of Face ID technology for biometric security.
Both the Oppo Find X and iPhone X features a dual rear camera with LED flash. Though the dual rear camera of the Oppo Find X pops out. In terms of body colors, the Oppo Find X is available in Bordeaux Red and Glacier Blue. Whereas, the iPhone X comes in Space Gray and Silver body colors.
Oppo Find X VS iPhone X – The Display
The Oppo Find X features one of the largest display on any flagship at the moment. The Find X packs a 6.42 inch AMOLED panel with one of the biggest screen-to-body on a smartphone at around 87%. Whereas, the iPhone X packs a 5.8 inch Super AMOLED panel with an 82.9% screen-to-body ratio. In terms of display resolution, the iPhone X features a 1125 x 2436 resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 458 PPI density. While the Oppo Find X features a 1080 x 2340 resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 401 PPI density.
On paper, the iPhone X features a better display quality than the Oppo Find X. This is one of the reasons why the iPhone X still remains one of the best flagships in the industry right now.
Oppo Find X VS iPhone X – The Camera
The iPhone X features a dual rear camera consisting of dual 12MP sensors. The primary sensor has a f/1.8 aperture while the second sensor has a f/2.4 aperture. Whereas, the Oppo Find X’s dual rear camera consists of a primary 16MP sensor and a 20MP secondary sensor. Both sensors which pop-up feature a f/2.0 aperture.
Moving over to the front, the iPhone X is equipped with 7MP front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture. While the Oppo Find X is equipped with a pop-up 25MP front-facing camera and f/2.0 aperture.
Oppo Find X VS iPhone X – Hardware and Software
The Oppo Find X is being powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chip with 8GB memory. The Snapdragon 845 chip powers most Android flagship smartphones in the industry. Whereas, the iPhone X is being powered by Apple’s A11 Bionic chip with 3GB memory. Apple’s hardware is so efficient that it only requires little memory to compete with other Snapdragon 845 chip-powered smartphone with bigger memory.
The iPhone X runs on iOS 11.1.1 with 64/256GB internal storage options. While the Oppo Find X runs on ColorOS 5.1 skin on top Android 8.1 Oreo with 128/256GB internal storage options.

The Oppo Find X lights up on a non-removable Li-lon 3730 mAh battery with Fast battery charging – VOOC Flash Charge 5V/4A. While the iPhone X lights up on a non-removable Li-lon 2716 mAh battery. The iPhone X supports both fast battery charging and wireless charging. But you need to buy a separate accessory for that.
Oppo Find X VS iPhone X – The Price
The iPhone X is presently sold for around $1,028 (N359,800). While the new Oppo Find X goes for about $1,155 (N404,250). The Oppo Find X is a solid smartphone from the Chinese phone maker and challenges the iPhone X in almost every department. But its price is on the high side and not everybody can readily afford it.
