Oppo K1 was launched in China as the first smartphone of the company belonging to the K series. The new Oppo phone, highly anticipated by industry experts and the public, is characterized above all by the presence of a fingerprint sensor integrated into the display, which it is in effect one of the trends of the moment.
The other main aspects of the smartphone are a 6.4-inch display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, two rear cameras, a 25-megapixel front camera and much more. The company’s new device based in Dongguan (China) is available in two RAM options (4 and 6 GB). Oppo K1 is a mid–range phone able to compete with the most important smartphones of the same “segment”. The pre-orders for this product have already started in China – the phone will be on sale starting October 19th.
The Oppo K1 is priced at 1,599 Yuan (about 200 euros) for the 4GB RAM / 64GB version of built-in memory, while the 6GB RAM / 64GB variant costs 1,799 Yuan (about 225 euros). The smartphone comes with two color variants – Mocha Red and Van Gogh Blue.
Oppo K1 runs ColorOS 5.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. The smartphone sports a 6.4-inch full-HD + (1080 × 2340 pixels) display with a 19.5 – 9 aspect ratio and a 91% screen-body ratio. The Chinese company’s new device is also powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor, clocked up to 2.2GHz. As mentioned, the Oppo K1 is available in 4 GB of RAM and 6 GB of RAM. In addition, it has 64 GB of integrated space, expandable via microSD card (up to 256 GB).
In terms of optics, the Oppo K1 houses a dual camera on the back with a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. On the front, there is a 25-megapixel camera. As mentioned earlier, the smartphone is equipped with a fingerprint sensor integrated into the display and has a 3D glass back. Finally, Oppo K1 is equipped with a 3,600 mAh battery.
