Design
Oppo has always been able to give users devices with a premium build and minimalist design aesthetics which still look very sleek and beautiful. The F3 Plus is no exception and just like most of its predecessors this phone carries the simplistic unibody aluminium design with a nice looking a six-string antenna pattern. At the front of the device are the dual front facing camera, proximity sensor and physical home key which also acts as a fingerprint reader.
The device carries a nicely crafted power button on its right side and similarly fashioned volume rockers on the left.
A 3.5mm headphone jack is present at the top of the device while the charging dock is at the bottom of the device flanked by two speaker grills.
Display
The 6.0-inch 1080p IPS LCD display is fitted nicely between thin bezels and gives a very rich visual experience. The display is almost as good as what can be found on most flagship devices and offers great colour depth and viewing angles.
Cranking the brightness of the display up a bit makes the device even the more easier to use under sunlight.
Processor, Internals & OS
The Oppo F3 Plus is backed by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor (64-bit Octa-core CPU @1.8 to 1.95 GHz), The processor is supported by the Adreno 510 GPU and 4Gb RAM. In simple words, this device plays intense graphic games, and run apps with little to no stutter or frame dropping, Multitasking is a breeze thanks to the 4GB RAM and 64GB of onboard storage which can be further expanded via a micro Sd card.
This device rocks Oppos latest Color OS 3.0 which is based on Android 6.0, with all indications showing a possible 7.0 nougat update in the coming months.
Camera, Battery & Price
The selling point of this device is its dual front-facing cameras which have been dubbed the selfie experts. One of the cameras is a 16-megapixel shooter with a 1/3-inch sensor and f2.0 aperture while the second is an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens camera with 120-degree angle 6-element lens. The camera app comes with more features to make your selfie better and give you that perfect shot.
On the back is a 16 megapixel 1/2.8-inch Sony IMX398 sensor with 1.4-micron pixels, 120-degree wide angle lens, f1.7 aperture and dual PDAF.
The device is powered by a 4000mAh battery with Qualcomm’s VOOC fast charging technology and is currently priced at Rs 30990(145,355.81 NGN).
