LG Phoenix 4 Specs, Camera, Performance Review, Special Features

LG is one technology company that prides itself on offering quality smartphones, varied, and attractive to users. The company has been offering variety of different smartphones from high-end to budget friendly smartphone. The most important thing for the LG team is for their devices to have admirable features and quality.

Now the company has released LG Phoenix 4 in the month of October. The first thing about this cheap Android smartphone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 and the 2GB of RAM that come with it. This LG Phoenix 4 smart is the latest from the company. The company released LG Rebel 4 in the month of September 2018.

Design and Display of LG Phoenix 4

Just like the Rebel 4, Phoenix 4 is built with a plastic body. Both smartphones look the same when stared at from the rear. That is when we consider the camera and color. The Phoenix 4 comes in black color only just like the Rebel 4. In this way, the Phoenix 4 measure 7.9 mm in thickness and it weighs 140 grams.

LG Phoenix 4 screen display measures 5 inches and that comes with HD IPS LCD capacitive touch screen. The Phoenix 4 screen has a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and that comes along with 294 pixel per inch density for clear and sharp visuals. However, the screen to body ratio is 66.41 percent.

Aspect ratio in the device is 16:9 and it comes with 2.5D curved glass screen. Of course, don’t think it is water proof but it has scratch resistance protection technology.

Camera Features

LG Phoenix 4

Like its predecessor, the LG Phoenix 4 is endowed with moderate an 8 MP rear shooter for images and videos. The video quality is 1080p@30fps and it comes with FHD recording. Other important features of the rear camera are HDR, ISO settings, exposure compensation, face detection, digital zoom, continuous shooting, LED flash and auto focus.

The front camera is only 5 MP and has minimal features when compared to the rear camera.

LG Phoenix 4 Hardware and Software

The Phoenix 4 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and may be able to upgrade to the latest Android 9 Pie. In addition to that, it’s got Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 28nm process technology chipset which is helped by Octa-core 1400 MHz 4-Cores. The architecture here is 64-bit but the GPU is Qualcomm Adreno 308 with 2-Cores.

Phoenix 4 Storage Capacity

There’s provision for 2GB of RAM with memory speed of 667 MHz. There’s also 16GB internal storage. Happily, this can be expanded up to the tune of 128GB through the use a microSD card.

Network and Connectivity

Needless to say, the LG Phoenix 4 has two SIM spaces for SIM card and the type of SIM used are Nano. However, the mobile handset is capable of making use of 2G (GSM), 3G (WCDMA), and 4G (LTE). Get access to the best internet connection wherever you may find yourself.

The other connection commons are Bluetooth, Wi-Fi Direct, mobile hotspot, USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS, A-GPS, and GLONASS. Suffice to say that in this connectivity area, LG has done well for manufacturing a smartphone lesser than a hundred dollars but able to make use of 4G LTE.

Battery Life

The backup of the Phoenix 4 is pretty much like that of Rebel 4. The battery is a removable 2500 mAh Li-Ion battery that can’t be charged through wireless or fast charging. Hence, you may have to charge the device for about two hours to attain 100 percent charge. More information about the battery will be offered later.

Price and Availability

The starting price for LG Phoenix 4 is $79 all the way to $99 but anyone can buy within that range online. Also, about its availability, the smartphone has just been released. Give it some time to see it flooding the market.
