Redmi Y3 Coming On 24th April Could Be India Exclusive Smartphone

The Redmi which split with its parents family Xiaomi this year is coming with a decent smartphone for selfies fanatics. The handset has already been confirmed to feature a 32MP selfies snapper. The company will debut the phone in India on 24th April next week.

Redmi Y3

The phone will be made available across the country. It will be the successor of the Y2 smartphone that was launched last year which comes with a different name for the Global market. Right now the phone is available on India Amazon website ahead of it’s launched date with a ‘Notify me button’.

This suggests that the phone could be available exclusively via Amazon India. If this happens, you don’t have to worry because it will be launched globally as the Redmi S3. The top selling point of the phone is the front camera set-up. The camera has been revealed to be 32MP while other information concerning the specifications and the price is not yet confirmed.

On the India Amazon page, it features a Snapdragon SoC and will come with a massive battery capacity that will last 2 days on a single charge. The Redmi Y3 will be running on the latest Android 9.0 Pie operating system with MIUI 10 on top. The Redmi Y3 is expected to come with a Samsung 32-megapixel ISOCELL Bright GD1 image lens that was announced last year. If this is true, then the Redmi Y3 will be competing with top premium smartphones like the Honor View 20 and the Samsung Galaxy A8S.

The main camera on the back is not yet confirmed, however, we are expecting it to come with combo set-up. Other rumors we have suggested that Xiaomi is also planning to launch the Redmi Note 7. So the company may launch two devices in the country on April 24th this month which is next week.
