  3. Install Magisk Manager (MagiskManager-v7.3.4.apk) on your phone and you can update it if you wish.
  4. In Magisk Manager- Install → Install → Select and patch a file
  5. Select the AP tar file. Magisk Manager will patch the entire firmware file and store the output on [Internal Storage] /Download/magisk_patched.tar. Copy magisk_patched.tar the tar file on your PC
  6. Restart on Bootloader. Press and hold the volume up key + power key, when the Samsung logo is displayed, release only the power key, continue to press the volume up key until the Android recovery mode is displayed. Select Clear data / Restore factory settings. Select Restart at the bootloader. Connect the phone to the PC via USB cable.
  7. Make sure the bootloader is unlocked (OEM options are enabled)
  8. Flash magisk_patched.tar as AP in ODIN, along with the BL, CP and HOME_CSC files.
Important- select “Automatic restart” and “F. Recovery time “only in Options!
  9. Magisk is now correctly installed on your device!
  10. After starting the device, perform the usual initial configuration. It needs more time and patience.
  11. Connect your phone to the Internet, copy the Magisk Manager apk file to your phone and install it.
  12. Open Magisk Manager. It will ask you to make additional settings. Let it do its job and the app will automatically restart your device.
  13. Done! You can use Root Checker to check, have fun!

Notes / Warning!

  1. Use at your own risk, I am not responsible for bricking the device.
  2. Using the wrong file can damage the device.
  3. If the target device has a custom firmware flash counter, rooting will activate it. If you’re lucky, Triangle Away has support for your device and can be used to reset the counter.
  4. If you have a KNOX-enabled device, rooting will trigger the VOID status of the KNOX WARRANTY!
  5. If your device’s memory is encrypted, the root will delete your data!
  6. If you have bootloader blocked, the root will probably make your device become a brick, except for Nexus devices, which usually “unlock OEM” automatically and delete your data!
  7. Make sure you back up important data before running root.
