Samsung Galaxy A10S Specs Review, Upgraded Version of A10

No doubt, many of us saw it coming. The A10S smartphone from Samsung will present great features like the predecessors. But what will be better? Or what will be worse. This new A10S mobile device has been released in the month of August 2019. Some of us have been expecting it since June this year. Let’s quickly go into details and see how lovely this phone is.

Design and Display of Samsung Galaxy A10S

I can see that the phone has big screen somehow but not the biggest I have seen. It is not 5G Android but it has many colors; black, blue, red, and green, that a buyer could choose from. Further, it is made of plastic and the dimensions are 75.8 x 156.9 x 7.8 mm, while the weight is 168 grams which is combined with the battery, I can also see that the phone does not have waterproof capacity and that’s fine considering the price which I shall reveal later.

Display type in Samsung Galaxy A10S is TFT technology, capacitive touchscreen with multi-touch feature. Screen size is is 6.2 inches with 720 x 1560 display resolution. Which demographics will this phone be for? Adults or teens? Display colors are 16 million and there is no secondary display at all. Going further, pixel density is 277 ppi. Display protection includes scratch resistance and Infinity-V.

Camera Features

Samsung Galaxy A10S has cameras that are nice. There are three of them; two to the rear and one to the front. At the rear we find 13 MP and 2 MP. However, the video resolution is 1080p. Also, the front side has a selfie camera of 8 MP. The camera is fortified with dual-LED flash. Of course, you can expect other nice features from the camera department.

Hardware and Software

This Samsung device comes with Android OS v9.0 Pie but don’t expect 5G network at all. The user interface is One UI. In addition to that, there are hardware parameters that include MediaTek Helio P22 (MT6762) chipset with a CPU frequency of Octa core 8 Cores 2.0 GHz, and the GPU is PowerVR GE8320 Cores 2. This tells you how fast the phone can operate for multi-tasking purposes.

Storage Capacity and Sensors

For Samsung Galaxy A10S, there is memory 2GB of RAM that is not able to increase no matter what. The internal storage is 32GB which is not bad at all. There’s also a memory card slot to boost storage further externally up to 128GB. On the other side, the sensors in this device are proximity, light, fingerprint, and accelerometer.

Network and Connectivity

Samsung Galaxy A10S is indeed a 4G Android smartphone, able to work with networks such as 2G, 3G, and 4G. Speed composition are varied and the phone works with two nano SIM cards to carry out connectivity operations. Other network connectivity components are Wi-Fi, hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, FM radio, USB 2.0, headphone jack and other components. But no NFC or HDMI are found herein.

Battery Power

Powering the Samsung Galaxy A10S is a non-removable Li-Po 4000 mAh battery. This phone lacks wireless charging although it has fast charging options. This battery is good because the it is able to handle all the aforementioned. So the battery can is a good backup for the phone.
