Samsung Mobile has launched a new phone, the Samsung SM-G9298 in its series of premium flip phones running on the Android OS. The SM-G9298 is a successor to the Samsung SM-W2017 flip phone that was also launched last year in China.

Design & Display
The Samsung SM-G9298 features a pair of 4.2 inch Super AMOLED displays with a display resolution of 1080 by 1920 pixels. The device measures in at 130.2 by 62.6 by 15.9 mm in dimensions and weighs a huge 235g, being a flip device with two screens. It also possesses a physical T9 keyboard as you would expect a flip phone to have.
With this design and form factor, you can conveniently operate the phone at all times, even when it’s closed. It uses capacitive navigation buttons and has a 3D glass and metal design.
Storage & Processor
The Leader 8 as it is also called has 4GB of RAM coupled with 64GB of internal storage and can be further expanded to 256GB using an external microSD card (uses its SIM 2 slot).
It’s powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 821 processor running at 1.6GHz of clock speed, which is quite impressive. Its graphics are handled by the high-end Adreno 530 GPU, giving no space for lags or freezes.
Camera
The Samsung SM-G9298 features a decent setup in this department; a 12MP primary camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera for capturing amazing personal moments.
Battery & Connectivity
The Samsung phone is powered by a non-removable 2300mAh battery which is expected to last its user more than half a day and supports wireless charging. The device supports 4G LTE networks, GPS, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth.
Software & Hardware
The Samsung SM-G9298 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with TouchWiz UI, and it can also run on the Android OS (Nougat or Marshmallow). It sports a fingerprint sensor on its rear.
