Samsung’s Quad Camera Phone Galaxy A9 (2024) Arrives

Here is a mobile phone that is able to handle four rear cameras at the rear! You must have heard it before because there have been news about this mobile device months before. Apart from the rear cameras, Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) has many other cool features that fans like to know about.

Please note that this device is the same as Samsung Galaxy A9s that was previously announced as Galaxy A9s by the company about two months ago. Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) was first released in the month of October and it will be released in India on November 28, 2018.

The areas where we looked at are price, design, display, network, cameras, performance and others now, it has been confirmed in many areas reviewed that things are so except at the performance department.

Display type is Super AMOLED capacitive touch screen of 16 million colors. The screen size is 6.3 inches and it has no secondary display. Pixel density 392 ppi, pixel resolution is 2220 x 1080, while aspect ratio is 18.5:9. Consequently, the screen to body ratio is 80.5 percent.

There are four cameras at the rear of Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) and things are indeed really tight here. These are 24 MP, 8 MP, 10 MP and 5 MP. All these come with LED flash. Furthermore, the front camera, which is 24 MP has front flash option too. The video is 2160p@30fps and 1080p@30fps of FHD recording. Most importantly, the top camera features are geotagging, auto focus, HDR, touch focus, PADF, and face detection, and panorama.

For performance sake, there is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset with process technology 14nm. CPU is Octa-core 4 x 2.2 GHz Kryo 260 and 4 x 1.86 GHz Kryo 260, while the GPU is Adreno 512. Regarding storage, there are two variants of the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018). One comes with 6GB and the other with 8GB of RAM. However, the internal storage is a unified 128GB which can be upgraded through the use of a micro SD card.

Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) price has now been revealed and it sells for $694 USD for the 6GB RAM variant, while the 8GB variant sells for more. However, the buyers may have to scour online to get the best pricing. As for availability, the device will be really available on November 28 2018 in India.
