Tambo TA-1 is a small plastic phone that was released in the month of April 2018. The device is a 4G Android with only the minimal or entry-level features that only simple minds appreciate. However, you could buy the smartphone for a teenager who just needs something to go by.

Design and Display of Tambo TA-1
The body design of this smartphone is simply plastic. Dimensions are 133.5 x 67 x 9.9 mm and it weighs 134 grams. It comes in black, red, rose gold, and gold. However, this phone is not a water resistant device, has no fingerprint sensor and no face recognition technology at all.
At the front it sports a 4.5 inches TFT capacitive touch screen, which comes without a secondary display. Further, it comes with 854 x 480 pixels of screen resolution. Pixel density is 218 ppi, 62.6 percent screen to body ratio.
Camera Features
There is a single primary camera of 5 MP at the rear of the device. It comes with LED flash. Further, there is also 2 MP, 480P which comes in led flash. The video performance is 720p@30fps FHD recording option.
Camera features include geotagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, auto focus, and HDR.
Hardware and Software Tambo TA-1
Android OS v8.0 Oreo Go Edition is the operating system in the device. In addition, MediaTek MT6739 chipset is found herein and it works with 28nm process technology, and 64-architecture, CPU is 1.3 GHz Quad-core Cortex A53, while the GPU is PowerVR GE8100.
Storage Capacity and Sensors
The memory of the phone is 1GB of RAM which cannot be expanded. Further, there is also a minimal 8GB internal storage in the device. It is possible to increase internal storage space externally to 64GB with micro-SD card. Accelerometer is the only Sensor found inside the Tambo TA-1.
Network and Connectivity
Supported network in Tambo TA-1 are GSM, HSPA, and LTE. That makes it a 4G device. To make things better, there is provision for two nano SIM card slots. There is no space for a hybrid or micro SIM in the device.
Other connectivity components are Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi, mobile hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, headphone jack, and micro USB 2.0. However, there is no infrared, NFC, and no HDMI in this device.
Battery Life Tambo TA-1
Battery power of this device is a Li-Ion 2000 mAh removable battery that does not have wireless charging and no fast charging technology. Standby time and talk time are 180 hours and 8 hours respectively.
