Tecno Camon iAce 2, the kid brother of Tecno Camon iAce 2x has been launched in the month of February 2019. Both phones were announced and released at the same time.

This phone is very much like the 2X except in a few details such as sensors, RAM, and also the fact that this one has no fingerprint sensor.

Like its sibling, this phone comes in plastic body and in three colors as well. Let us take a look at the full technical specification of the phone from design and display to price and performance.

Design and Display

Tecno Camon iAce 2 phone arrives in a plastic body and frame design. Dimensions and the weight specs are not known for now. It comes in black, blue, and gold colors. Additionally, it has no waterproof protection, and has no fingerprint sensor but has face recognition technology.

Also, it is a 5.5 inches screen of IPS LCD capacitive multi-touch screen, which comes without a secondary display but comes with display protection. Further, it sports 1440 x 720 pixels of screen resolution. Furthermore, there are 16 million colors, 18:9 aspect ratio, 2.5D curved display and pixel density is 293 PPI.

Camera Features

There is dual primary rear camera setup of 13 MP and 0.3 MP that comes with LED flash. Additionally, at front the selfie camera is dual 8 MP, which comes with LED flash. However, the video performance in the device is 1080p.

Camera features in the phone are as follows- Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, auto focus, HDR, and others.

Hardware & Software

Further, Tecno Camon iAce 2 also sports Android OS v8.1 Oreo as the operating system. It comes with the HiOS 4.1 user interface. There is hope that this will upgrade to the latest Android soon. It comes with MediaTek Helio A22 chipset which comes with process technology 12nm, 64-bit architecture. Moreover, the CPU is 2.0 GHz Quad-core Cortex A53, and the GPU is PowerVR GE8320.

Storage Capacity and Sensors

Furthermore, Tecno Camon iAce 2 is entitled to 2GB of RAM which is not able to expand. At the internal storage level, it has 32GB space. It can be increased to 128GB with a micro-SD card. There are three sensors in the phone and they are accelerometer, proximity, and light.

 

Network and Connectivity

The Tecno Camon iAce 2 is supported by GSM, HSPA and 4G LTE, so it is having 2G, 3G and 4G available for internet connectivity and other uses. This makes the device a 4G compliant mobile device that has dual nano SIM card slot.

Expectedly, network support of the device are Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi, mobile hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, infrared, headphone jack and micro USB 2.0. Evidently, there is no HDMI, infrared, and NFC in the device.

Battery Life of Tecno Camon iAce 2

The battery of the phone is a good one at a Li-Po 3050 mAh non-removable that has no wireless charging and has no fast charging technology. Talk time and standby time are not specified herein.
