Tecno Pouvoir 1 VS Tecno Pouvoir 2 – The Design

The design of the Tecno Pouvoir 1 and Pouvoir 2 are virtually the same. They both have antenna lines at their back. The rear camera and LED flash placement is different on both smartphones. The Tecno Pouvoir 1 features the rear camera with LED flash at the top left corner in a vertical position. While the Tecno Pouvoir 2 features the rear camera with LED flash at the top center. The first major difference in the display of the Tecno Pouvoir 1 and Pouvoir 2 is the bezels. The Tecno Pouvoir 1 features large bezels at the top and bottom, with the three navigation buttons on the bottom bezel. The three navigation buttons of the Tecno Pouvoir is on-screen as it features a bezel-less display.

The Tecno Pouvoir 1 sports an IPS LCD 5.5-inch touchscreen. The display features a 720 x 1280 pixels resolution with 267 PPI density. While the Tecno Pouvoir 2 sports an IPS LCD 6.0-inch touchscreen. The display ditches out an 18:9 aspect ratio, 720 x 1440 pixels resolution with 269 PPI density. Aside from the bezel-less display, there isn’t much difference between them.

Under the hood of the Tecno Pouvoir 1 is MediaTek MT6580 chipset with 4-cores processor clocking at a speed of 1.3GHz. And the ARM Mali-400 graphics processing unit handles the graphics of the Pouvoir 1. The Tecno Pouvoir 2 is powered by a better chipset; MediaTek MT6737 that carries 4-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. The graphics of the Pouvoir 2 is powered by an ARM Mali-T720 MP2 graphics processing unit.

The Tecno Pouvoir 1 runs on HiOS skin on top of Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. While the Pouvoir 2 runs on HiOS skin on top of Android 8.1 Oreo. The Pouvoir 1 comes with just a 1GB memory, which is really poor for a smartphone that does not run on Android Go edition. You get a 2GB memory on the Tecno Pouvoir 2.
