Tecno Spark 2 Plus is the upgraded version of Tecno’s second generation Spark smartphone, the Spark 2. The Plus version comes with a bigger RAM size and other features for heavy users on a budget.

Design
Tecno Spark 2 Plus sports a Metallic body that offers that premium vibe, this will definitely turn heads when you’re out and about with the device. The curved antenna line also adds to the beauty of this affordable device.
With the rear fingerprint scanner at the usual position, be ready to unlock the device in 0.1s, that’s if you don’t like the Face ID feature. The rear camera and LED flash are vertical at the top left corner as well. It measures just 7.5mm in thickness, making it easy to hold and operate.
Display
The Spark 2 Plus is also built around the trending full view display, just like its little sibling. There are no narrow bezels in sight, this we saw in the recently released photographs. Even though the top and bottom bezel is very visible, the reduction is impressive.
The massive 6-inch HD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen will enable a better split screen experience. It has a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and 268 pixel per inch density, the screen also ditches out an 18:9 aspect ratio. You’ll get more screen and less bezels with the new Spark smartphone.
Hardware and Software
Taking charge underneath, is the MediaTek MT6580WP chip with Quad-Core processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The 4-Cores of processor clocks at a speed of 1.3GHz with 28nm process technology. In the graphics department, the ARM Mali-400 MP2 graphics processor clocks at 416MHz.
A bigger 2GB of RAM is now available for multitasking of light apps like YouTube Go and others. While the storage space still stands at 16GB, although you can expand up to 128GB with a memory card. The Tecno Spark 2 Plus runs on Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition with HiOS 3.3.
Camera
According to Tecno, the 13MP rear camera has f/2.0 aperture, this allows for enough light into the lens and creates magic through photography. The camera comes with a LED flash and other features like autofocus, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama and HDR. The 8MP selfie shooter comes with a LED flash as well and supports Face ID.
Battery
Powering the Tecno Spark 2 Plus is a 3500mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery with no charging technology. Without the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% might take up to 2.5 hours.
