The TP-LINK Neffos P1 has been unveiled as a Laser Projector smartphone with a built-in MEMS (micro electro mechanical system). The projector on the smartphone delivers sharp imaging and HD quality.
It also offers automatic adjustments and ultra-low power consumption. It houses a 4000mAh battery which keeps the projector going for up to 4 hours. There’s 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space as well.
Design
The Neffos P1 has an all-metal frame with gold finishing. While the back is made from Plastic and has dual antenna lines (one on top and another at the bottom). There’s a circular foundation at the top middle.
This houses a rear fingerprint scanner and LED flash, while the fingerprint scanner follows closely underneath. It measures 10.28mm in thickness which is quite bulky and weighs 204g overall. It was introduced in only Black.
Display
The device is also equipped with a 5.5-inch screen with reduced bezels, even though it dishes out 16:9 aspect ratio. This is Ideal for when you don’t want to use the projector found on top of the device.
The screen is a FHD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen which boasts 1080 x 1920 pixels in resolution and 401 pixel per inch density. Nonetheless, it stretches up to 72% screen-to-body.
Hardware and Software
Under the hood, the MediaTek MT6750 chip takes the wheel with its 28nm process technology. It comes with an octa-core processor clocking at 1.5GHz. While the ARM Mali-T860 MP2 graphics processor clocks at 520 MHz with 2-Cores.
For multitasking, you get to switch through apps with 4GB RAM space available. In the storage department, there’s 64GB storage space available and you can expand up to 128GB using a memory card. The Neffos P1 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with Neffos UI 7.0.
Camera
It’s equipped with a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, there’s a dual-LED flash as well and other Internal features. For selfies, there’s an 8MP selfie camera.
Battery
Powering the TP-LINK Neffos P1 is a 4000mAh non-removable Li-Po battery with fast charging technology. With the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 2 hours.
