TP-Link is the parent company of Neffos, and together they created the TP-Link Neffos C7 smartphone. A beautiful device both in and out, shut down any occasion with this device and show off its sleek metal body. Neffos always takes time in creating their stunning devices.
The C7 comes with the average specs that will work for everyone. Boasting of 2GB RAM, 16GB Storage and 3060mAh battery among other quality features. The body of the device does make it stand out among other smartphones within its specification range. Without further ado, meet the TP-Link Neffos C7.
Design
Truly a masterpiece, the C7 was created on a sunny day no doubt. The way the metal body reflects light is absolutely magical and stunning no doubt. The rear fingerprint scanner is present at the usual position with the Neffos inscription underneath. The TP-Link inscription is not missing as well, seen at the bottom as they marked their territory.
Apparently, there’s no rear loudspeaker this time around. The rear camera is at the top left with the dual-LED flash right underneath. Turning to the sides where the volume keys and power button are present, it measures just 7.0 mm slim. The C7 is a slim and tiny smartphone, weighing 157g as well. It’s available in only Gold and Gray colors, which might be a bummer to some people.
Display
Turning over to the screen, i have no idea why the Neffos inscription is at the top bezel. Besides, the bezels are too much to begin with, the bottom bezel houses three navigation buttons. While the top houses the selfie camera, speaker grille and ambient light sensor.
With no narrow bezels, the 5.5-inch HD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen dishes out a much taller display in landscape mode. It boasts of a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, 267 pixel per inch density, 450 cd/m2 and 1500:1 contrast ratio. Protecting the multi-touch screen is a 2.5D curved glass, while the screen got to 70.58% screen to body ratio.
Hardware and Software
Under the hood is the MediaTek MT6750 chip with an Octa-core processor. The processor reaches a clock speed of 1.5 GHz, it has a 64-bit CPU architecture and 28nm process technology as well. The graphics processing unit is an ARM Mali-T860 MP2 graphics processor with 2-Cores and reaches a speed of 520MHz.
For smooth multitasking and fast app launching, there’s 2GB of RAM with a memory speed of 667MHz. Store up your files and movies in the 16GB storage space available, if that isn’t enough, you can upgrade up to 128GB. It has no memory card slot, so you have to use the SIM slot 2. The Neffos C7 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with Neffos UI 7.0.
Camera
The 13MP rear camera on this beauty captures 4K resolution images. The camera has a f/2.0 aperture, a dual-LED flash underneath and other quality features to take photographs of 4160 x 3120 pixels in dimension. Record videos of 1080 pixels at 30 frames per second, and take cute selfies with 8MP selfie camera.
Battery
Powering the TP-Link Neffos C7 up is a 3060mAh Non-removable Li-Po battery with no fast charging technology support. Without the feature, it might take more than 3 hours to fully charge the battery.
