Samsung Galaxy Wide 3 has been launched in South Korea as a mid-range smartphone. The Wide 3 is the successor to the Galaxy Wide 2 entry level device, the new Wide 3 comes with enhanced specs and features.

Apart from having a “wide” 5.5-inch screen, it has an octa-core processor, there’s 2GB RAM and 32GB storage, 13MP selfie camera with a massive battery capacity and the latest Android operating system. Lets find out more.
Design
The Wide 3 comes with a Plastic-like overall body with the usual rear features setting from Samsung. There’s no fingerprint scanner at the rear, the sensor is at the front doubling with the physical home button. The rear camera is at its usual position at the top middle.
The LED flash sits beside the rear camera for night shoots. Turning over to the sides, we can see the power button at the right side, while the volume keys sits by the left. It’s quite slim prior to what people actually think about the Wide series, it’s available in Black and Silver colors.
Display
There’s no reduction in bezels here or the popular notched screen. The Galaxy Wide 3 ships with lots of bezels at the top and bottom corner. The bottom bezel houses three navigation buttons including the physical home button.
There’s a wide 5.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 1280 x 720 pixels in resolution. The screen dishes out amazing displays with its pixel per inch density of 267. There’s a 2.5D curved glass on top to offer protection.
Hardware and Software
Under the hood, Samsung Exynos 7870 chip with Octa-Core processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The 8-Cores of processor here runs at a smooth speed of 1.6GHz with 14nm process technology. The ARM Mali-T830 MP2 graphics processor here comes with 2-Cores.
There’s just 2GB of RAM for multitasking, it has a memory speed of 933MHz. In terms of storage, Samsung topped it up a notch with 32GB storage space available, you can upgrade up to 256GB using a memory card. The Samsung Galaxy Wide 3 runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with Experience 9.0 user interface.
Camera
The 13MP rear camera has f/1.7 aperture and captures 4160 x 3120 pixels in dimension. The camera comes with HDR, autofocus, panorama, digital zoom and other quality features as well. You can shoot 720 pixels slow-mo videos @60fps with this beast. While the 13MP selfie camera has f/1.9 aperture.
Battery
Powering the Samsung Galaxy Wide 3 is a 3300mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery with fast charging technology. With the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 2.5 hours.
