OnePlus 6 is faster than Galaxy S9 + and iPhone X

The OnePlus 6 has recently been launched and the device seems so far not to disappoint. It even seems to exceed expectations. OnePlus already said that it would be a speed demon and they certainly did not lie. In a video from the YouTube channel PhoneBuff, you can see how the Chinese device makes short work with the Samsung Galaxy S9 +.

OnePlus 6 vs. iPhone X, Galaxy S9, and OnePlus 5T

It is not the first test in which the OnePlus demonstrates its speed and excels in it. A few days ago, the device recorded it in a simplified speed test against the Galaxy S9, iPhone X, and OnePlus 5T and came out as the fastest. During the test, a series of apps on both devices were opened behind each other and it was examined which device could go the fastest through the series. In the PhoneBuff test, the process is automated and it is no longer human hands that open the apps, but a robot starts working with the devices.

Open apps as quickly as possible

The OnePlus 6 and Galaxy S9 + are shown next to each other in the video, which should open the same series of apps in the same order. The first round looks at how quickly all apps load. Then there is a second round, which looks at how quickly the devices reload the apps from the working memory.

More than 8 seconds faster

The OnePlus 6 overcomes again and is even more than 8 seconds faster than the Galaxy S9 +. And that while both devices have the same Snapdragon 845 chipset. The OnePlus 6 does have a larger memory of 8GB, while the Galaxy S9 + 6GB. It is also true that the OnePlus 6 is already running on Android 8.1 Oreo and the Galaxy device still has to do with Android 8.0.

The test clearly shows that the OnePlus 6 is faster than the Galaxy S9 + and earlier this year the Galaxy S9 + in turn tests in speed tests showed to be faster than the iPhone X. And that while the iPhone X in benchmark testing did better. So you see again that benchmark results again do not say everything.
