Ulefone Power 3S – Review
The OEM just released the Ulefone Power 3S which is an update to the Power 3. The new Power smartphone comes with upgraded specs and features including a boast in battery capacity. Ulefone went from 6,060mAh battery on the Power 3 to an astonishing 6350mAh battery on the Power 3S. We know the Power series from Ulefone is all about the battery, but what else does this smartphone offer? Lets find out.
Design
The Power 3S looks almost exactly like the Power 3 from Ulefone, looking classy and sleek. Made entirely from Aluminium Alloy and covered in glass, the device exudes class and style. The device looks stunning and beautiful, as the dual rear camera are vertical at the top middle.

The dual-LED flash is just beside the dual shooters to the left, while the fingerprint scanner is just underneath the camera. It measures 9.9mm slim and weighs 215g, which is not surprising because of the massive battery. The dual nano sim compatible smartphone is available in only Black and Rose-Gold colors.
Display
Its obviously bezel-less, just like the first Power 3 smartphone from Ulefone. There are still bottom bezels which are utterly useless, while the top is occupied by the selfie camera and LED flash. Overall, Ulefone got to a 76.98% screen to body ratio with the Power 3S. It could have gotten to 80%, if they had let the bottom bezel go though.
Nevertheless, the 6-inch FHD+ IPS capacitive touchscreen is a stunner, boasting of 1080 x 2160 pixels in resolution. It has a pixel per inch density of 402, offering immersive visuals and clarity during gameplay. The screen is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 4 offering scratch resistant and rigidity.
Hardware and Software
The beast behind this beauty is the MediaTek Helio P23 MT6763 chip with Octa-core processor. The processor reaches a clocking speed of 2.0 GHz, boasting of a 64-Bit CPU architecture. For graphics, the ARM Mali-G71 MP2 processor with 2-Cores is in charge, reaching a speed of 770MHz.
To multitask through heavy apps, there’s 4GB of RAM with a memory speed of 933MHz and 28nm process technology. Internally, it boasts of 64GB storage space which is upgradeable to 256GB via microSD using the Sim 2 slot. Ulefone Power 3S runs smoothly on Android 7.1 Nougat operating system with modified user interface.

Camera
The 16MP + 5MP rear shooter with f/2.0 aperture are more than brilliant. They capture 4K resolution images with less power, take photos with 4608 x 3456 pixels in dimension. The camera comes with 5P lens, dual-LED flash, white balance settings, ISO settings, CMOS sensor, phase detection and other quality features. At the front there’s a 13MP + 5MP selfie shooter with LED flash as well, to take the best selfies.
Battery
Ulefone Power 3S houses a 6350mAh non-removable Li-Po battery. It also comes with fast battery charging feature which takes 2.4 hours to charge from 0% to 100%.
