Umidigi F1 welcomes us into the year 2019 from the stable of UMI. This is a phone that is rich in everything, except for the fact that it does not have wireless charging and is not a water resistant smartphone. This is one of the first phones to be released in January 2019.

Design and Display of Umidigi F1

Umidigi F1 arrives in smooth and sleek metal body design. Accordingly, the dimensions are 156.9 x 74.35 x 8.8 mm and its weight specification is 186 grams. It comes in gold, black and red colors. Nonetheless, this phone is not a water resistant device but it has fingerprint sensor, and it has face recognition technology.

There is a dual rear camera setup of 16 MP and 8 MP in the device. This comes with dual LED flash. Additionally, at the front the selfie camera is 16 MP, which comes without led flash. The video performance is 1080p.

Umidigi F1 has Android OS v9.0 Pie as its operating system in control. The version is not specified right now. In addition to that, it comes with MediaTek MT6771 Helio P60 chipset, 12nm process technology, and 64-bit architecture. Moreover, CPU is 1.5 GHz Octa-core, and the GPU is Mali G72 MP3.

Storage Capacity and Sensors

There is a provision for a better 4GB of RAM in the device and that cannot be increased. In addition to that, the internal storage is 128GB which can be increased with a micro-SD card up to 256GB. There are six sensors in the device and they are accelerometer, proximity, light gyro, magnetometer, and fingerprint.

Network and Connectivity

All supported networks in the device are GSM, T-SCDMA, HSPA and 4G LTE. That makes it a 4G compliant mobile device, working with two hybrid/nano SIM cards.

Other network support items are Bluetooth v4.2, NFC, Wi-Fi, mobile hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, headphone jack and micro USB 2.0 Type C 1.0 reversible connector. For all we know, there is no HDMI, and infrared inside the Umidigi F1.
