The Umidigi One Pro has been unveiled by the company on its official website. The device is the upgraded variant of the Umidigi One we reviewed a couple of weeks ago.
Of course, the One Pro is a compact flagship that brings enhanced features from the Technology Fashion Pioneer. You get a bigger 64GB storage space, NFC, Wireless Charging and a reduced battery capacity. Lets meet the Umidigi One Pro.
Design
The One Pro is also available in two different textures and design, Umidigi is redefining how fashion meets technologies in the One series. According to the company, the Umidigi One will become a fashion leader.
The device looks premium and stunning in any situation. It’s available in either carbon fiber texture or gradient twilight color. It has a side fingerprint scanner and a built-in stereo speaker underneath. It supports USB Type-C and weighs 180g overall.
Display
Just like the Umidigi One, the device sports the trending notched screen, the notch houses the selfie camera, indicator light, sensors, built-in stereo speaker and microphone. While the bottom chin is super minimal as well compared to what we typically see.
The 5.9-inch HD+ In-Cell IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen consumes low power and boasts 1520 x 720 pixels and 287 pixel per inch density for sharp visuals. It has Reading mode, Color temperature adjustments, 19:9 aspect ratio and stretches up to 90% screen-to-body ratio.
Hardware and Software
It houses the Helio P23 chip from MediaTek, the chip promises improved performance and reduce power consumption with its 16nm process technology. It has 8-cores of processor reaching 2.0GHz max, while the ARM Mali G71 MP2 clocks 700MHz.
There’s the 4GB RAM space available as well for all your multitasking needs, it has a memory speed that reaches over 1GHz as well. While the storage space has been increased to 64GB, you can expand up to 256GB as well. The One Pro runs on Android 8.1 Oreo.
Camera
The device is fully loaded with dual 12MP + 5MP rear cameras with large f/2.0 aperture. The 12MP camera is a OV12870 sensor with 6-element lens and 1.28″ sensor size. The cameras come with a dual-LED flash snd other Internal features like Panorama and Real-time filters.
While the 16MP front camera at the notch is a S5K3P3 sensor from Samsung. The camera has a large f/2.0 aperture as well,5-element lens, Selfie countdown and supports Face ID.
Battery
Powering the Umidigi One Pro is a 3250mAh non-removable Li-Po battery with fast charging technology. With the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 1.7 hours.

Notch display has a lot of problem for the UI. 720p display on this screen size is bad. The camera flash is really awful. Back camera only decent. Bottom half of the navigation buttons are now blank ( like literally just half of the navigation bar ). Apps running full screen is cut off by the notch, blocking the display on the top.
