Vivo Y93 Lite has been released in the month of April by the company. It seems Vivo is joining the likes of Huawei, Xiaomi and a few others like Samsung in setting the pace for 2019. However, with this edition of Vivo being light, it seems also that the company only wants to mix the old with the new when it comes to making use of features for smartphones.

Design and Display

Vivo Y93 Lite comes in plastic body design. Of course we expect nothing much. The device comes in two colors of black and blue but body protection is not supported. Dimensions are 75.09 x 155.11 x 8.27 mm and it weighs 163 grams. It is not a waterproofed smartphone but has other nice features.

Unfortunately, this is not Android Pie device but runs on Android OS v8.1 Oreo, operating on Funtouch 4.5 user interface.

Talking about storage, Vivo Y93 Lite has 3GB of RAM as blessing. It cannot be expanded. But the user can expand the 32GB internal storage to 256GB with a microSD card. Furthermore, there are sensors like proximity, accelerometer, compass, gyroscope, light, and fingerprint in the device.

Network and Connectivity

Network and connectivity components are GSM, CDMA, WCDMA, FDD-LTE. This, in other words mean that the phone is able to handle 2G, 3G, and 4G. To do that, there are two nano SIM slots for ease of use. Once the user inserts a 4G SIM, the phone will automatically pick the signal and it is also able to automatically switch from one network to another, based on what network prevails in the area.

Battery Life

Powering the Vivo Y93 Lite is a Li-Ion 4030 non-removable battery that has no wireless charging but has fast charging tech. the fast charging option is so good that the phone can be charged full in about two hours even when it was on zero percent. Standby time is reportedly 357 hours, while talk time is 15.6 hours.
