After the rumors of the last few days that we brought to you, we come back to talking about Xbox One S All-Digital. For those who do not know it yet, it is the version without an optical reader of the “entry-level” console in the lineup proposed by Microsoft. A small revolution, in fact, considering that obviously the physical disks cannot be used in this case, but will be played only with video games downloaded from the official store.
Windows Central has provided several interesting details on Xbox One S All-Digital, starting with the render of the sales package- the references to the absence of the optical reader stand out, while the amount of physical memory, equal to 1 TB (as on the other hand in the forecasts).
Not only that- the source in question speaks for the first time also of the possible launch date. Xbox One S All-Digital could arrive on May 7th in a global launch; we’ll see if the rumor turns out to be well founded.
Windows Central also mentions the first bundles that will feature the release of the console (with Sea of Thieves, Minecraft and Forza Horizon 3 download codes) and states that – at least for the moment – the Xbox One S will not be set aside and will continue to be sold at a higher price. In short, the obvious attempt is to extend the player base with a solution that is much more up to date.
