One thing that first hits you is the fact that the smartphone too like the Y24 has no 4G internet connectivity and the camera features are way too low. Get it for your teenager and he will appreciate it. The good thing is that the smartphone is cheap.

Design and Display of Xgody Y28
Body design of the device is primarily plastic. Dimensions are 162.2 x 76.8 x 9. It comes in black, blue, and gold colors. It is not water resistant, has no fingerprint reader, and no face recognition options. Also, it has no secondary display.
Display type in this smartphone is IPS LCD capacitive touch screen of 16 million displays colors. The screen size is 6 inches of multi-touch capacity. Pixels resolution is 960 x 540. Pixel density is 184 ppi, and screen to body ratio is 79.9 percent. There is no display protection for the smartphone.
Camera Features
At the camera department there is a single camera setup of 5 MP that comes with LED flash. To the front there is 2 MP (interpolation resolution 5 MP) with front flash attribute in the selfie camera. Video performances are 720p@30fps with FHD recording option.
Other important camera features are geotagging, auto focus, HDR, touch focus, face detection, and panorama.
Hardware and Software of Xgody Y28
Android OS v7.0 Nougat is the primary software in the device. We do not know if this OS will update to the latest Android. In addition, MediaTek MT6580M chipset with process technology 28nm works with 32-bit architecture. The CPU is 1.3 GHz Quad core Cortex A7. Likewise, the GPU is Mali 400 MP2.
Storage Capacity and Sensors
There is provision for 1GB of RAM in the device which cannot be expanded. Also, 16GB of ROM is provided as the internal storage. This can boosted up to 64GB with the use of a microSD card. Sensors are accelerometer, proximity, and ambient light.
Network and Connectivity
Supported networks in the Xgody Y28 are GSM and HSPA. Consequently, there are 3G and 3G internet connectivity in the device. To support these further are two SIM card slots that can make use of micro SIM cards.
Other connectivity options in the device are Bluetooth, headphone jack, Wi-Fi, mobile hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, USB 2.0. However, there is no infrared, NFC, or HDMI in the smartphone.
Xgody Y28 Battery Life
Powering the device is a 2500 mAh Li-Ion removable battery which does not have wireless or fast charging technology. Standby time and talk time are not specified for Xgody Y28.
