Design
I’ve seen a lot of Xgody smartphone but this by far is my favorite in terms of design. Unlike others, it comes in a full metal unibody that’s quite catchy to look at. Surprisingly, Xgody didn’t mark their territory anywhere on the device making the back a little boring.
Nevertheless, the rear camera, dual-LED flash and fingerprint scanner are all present in a vertical train. Both the volume keys and power button are by the right side, as it measures 8.7 mm in thickness. You can also get the Xgody D24 Pro in beautiful colors like Blue, Black and Gold.
Display
They tried the full view display with the D24 Pro and it came out great with an 18:9 aspect ratio and 76.32% screen to body ratio. No narrow bezels exist on the screen, the bottom bezel is at its minimum as well. The top bezel is also tiny but houses the selfie camera, speaker grille and ambient light sensor.
The Full View display is absolutely stunning, the 5.5-inch HD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen should make your movies and games come alive. It boasts of 1280 x 640 pixels in resolution and 260 pixel per inch density. Protecting the multi-touch screen is an Asahi Dragontrail Glass offering scratch resistant.
Hardware and Software
Under the hood is the MediaTek MT6737 chipset with Quad-Core processor clocking at 1.3GHz. It has a 28nm process technology, 64-bit CPU architecture and ARM Mali-T720 MP1 graphics processor that clocks at 600 MHz.
The phone boasts of a standard 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage space. The 2GB RAM reaches a memory speed of 640MHz for smooth multitasking. While the 16GB internal storage space is upgradeable up to 64GB, but you have to use the SIM slot 2. The D24 Pro runs smoothly on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with modified UI.
Camera
At the back, there’s a 13MP rear camera with dual-LED flash that captures 4K resolution images. With the Xgody D24 Pro you can take photographs of 4163 x 3122 pixels in dimension. The camera has lots of quality features, you can record videos of 1080 pixels at 30 frames per second. For selfies, the 8MP selfie camera will do much justice to your face.
Battery
Powering the Xgody D24 Pro up is a 2500mAh removable Li-Ion battery with no fast charging technology support. Even without the feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take more than 1.8 hours.
