Xiaomi launches teaser of Mi 6X where to confirm 6GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM

It seems to be increasingly becoming a recurring practice among Chinese manufacturers, provoking on equipment that has not yet been launched, has been so with Oneplus, and with Xiaomi.

Today Xiaomi has launched a new teaser of the Mi 6X, which should be the Mi A2 in some markets, the Chinese social network Weibo, which shows that the smartphone will have at least a version with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. This is expected to be the most powerful variant of the device, and there will also be a smaller version with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage.

This revelation turns out to be a surprise because this is the combination of more generous memory we see in a mid-range device launched by Xiaomi, where the only mid-range model that has this combination is Mi Note 3.

The storage of 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB along with a Snapdragon 660 chip would make this version an interesting option. It is not likely to be more popular than storing 6GB of RAM + 64GB, but it offers a better option for those who prefer more storage space. We also expect a similar configuration in the global version, which should be marketed as Mi A2.

If we take into account everything that has been said about the Xiaomi Mi 6X, then we will probably have a smartphone like this:

  • 5.99-inch 18 – 9 screen with Full HD + resolution (2160 × 1080 pixels)
  • Snapdragon or Helio P60 processor with 2.2 GHz clock
  • 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM
  • 64 GB or 128 GB internal storage
  • 12 MP and 20 MP Rear Cameras
  • 20 MP front camera
  • Fingerprint reader
  • 2910mAh battery
  • Android 8.1 Oreo with the MIUI 9.5 interface

The phone is expected to be launched as early as April 25, and its launch price is still a mystery.
