On the body, the Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro features a pretty cool body design. It’s built with the combination of Aluminium Alloy and glass. It weighs 177 gram and measures at 7.6mm thick and comes in colors Black (transparent back), Meteorite black and Twilight Gold. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, on the other hand, features an Aluminium on the back with a glass covering the front. It measures 8.5mm thick and weighs 218 gram. You can buy the phone in Jade Green, Sapphire Blue, Onyx Black and a special Forbidden City Blue for the 10GB RAM version.

On the Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro, you will get 6GB and 8GB RAM with internal memory of 128GB. Sadly, both devices have no slot for micro SD card. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 runs on the latest Android 9.0 Pie operating system, while the Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro runs on Android 8.1 Oreo.

Our Verdict:

Since they both fall in the same price bracket, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 will make a wise buy.
Nevertheless, if you already own the Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro, there’s no need to upgrade to the latest phone. The changes in Mix 3 is not worth it.
