The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 would be testing with the Snapdragon 632 processor

Despite what was rumored about Xiaomi, our favorite Chinese tech giant, could omit the term “Note” from their smartphones; Recent reports confirm that it is currently testing the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, to the surprise of all those who already assured that it would not exist. Although Xiaomi fans have already waited so long for the outcome of this smartphone, they will have to wait a little longer as the device is scheduled to be released only in the second quarter of 2018.

The reports also claim that this smartphone will use the Snapdragon 632 processor that has not yet been seen in the market. This seems to create some kind of expectation regarding the performance of this mobile, because it will be the first device to have the processor.

Supposed specifications of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5

In addition, the clock speed that can possibly be recorded by the CPU will be 1.8GHz. Also, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 would be equipped with a 5.99-inch Full HD + screen with an aspect ratio of 18 – 9. This device is also supposed to come with 4GB of RAM, while the specification of the internal memory is still a complete mystery. However, we all agree that anything less than 64GB expandable storage will be disappointing.

In the camera department, we expect a dual camera configuration like the one we’ve seen in the latest devices. It is believed that there will be two 12.0MP sensors that will form the back camera, while it is rumored that the selfies trigger is a 5.0MP sensor. The details of the battery have not been determined for now.

Finally, it is speculated that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will sell for around 1,599 yuan ( approximately $ 245 or € 203 ). This price, in all honesty, seems high and anything over $ 200 can discourage some potential buyers. As always, we want to make it clear that all of the above are just rumors until there are not announcements from the company, we exhort not to mention this as official information.
