Unsurprisingly Redmi wants to launch a smartphone with Snapdragon 855. Incidentally, this will have already been confirmed by Lu Weibing. The Xiaomi sub-brand wants to go beyond the entry / mid-range devices and launch what can be a true flagship killer.
According to the latest information, the name of the device could be Redmi Pro 2. The render was shared on Weibo social network and shows us a device with a front camera in ‘pop up’ system. This may not be the most popular system yet, but it would allow you to have a virtually borderless screen.
Lei Jun, for example, has already been seen with a smartphone that meets these characteristics. The CEO of Xiaomi appears to hold on to what may well be Redmi Pro 2 (or whatever they decide to call it). As far as the specifications, in addition to the processor, are still uncertain.
Redmi Pro 2 can come with three cameras
Previous rumors about this device, they attributed a camera to a 48-megapixel camera. That is, something similar to what we already see in Redmi Note 7 or Note 7 Pro. However, this render shows a triple setup on the back of the device, something that would be new to Redmi.
According to the text in the image above, the terminal will also come with a fingerprint sensor built into the screen. The great curiosity, in my opinion, is related to the price of this device. It is certain that it will be below the price of the Xiaomi Mi 9, but so can enter the territorial area of the Pocophone F2.
It will be interesting to see how much Xiaomi is not going to run down with so many options in this price range. Still, having multiple options should not be seen in this case as something negative. I assume that Redmi Pro 2 (we’ll call it that) will not exceed 400 €, and this can make it unbeatable.
