The Xiaomi Redmi S2 seems to have been fully revealed before its official announcement. According to a leak, the Xiaomi Redmi S2 will be a mid-range phone that will be equipped with the Snapdragon 625 which we can see on many Xiaomi phones. Despite being a somewhat old chip, it is still powerful enough for a phone in this range. In addition to Qualcomm‘s SOC, the phone will come with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage that are accompanied by a microSD card slot.

Regarding your screen, it will be 5.99 inches with an HD + resolution (1440 x 720 pixels), which results in a mere 268PPI. The phone comes with the requested 3.5mm audio port and a fingerprint reader. Although the original text comment that its battery will be 3080mAh and will use a micro USB port to charge, in a video with the hands-on of the equipment, the same site speaks of a battery of 4,205 mAh, the reason why we do not know in fact which the capacity of it.
