Zenfone 6z launched in India with starting price of Rs. 31,999

ASUS has announced a new phone at a dedicated launch event in India and it is known as the ASUS Zenfone 6z. The phone is a flagship device and it is powered the Snapdragon 855 processor. The main feature of the phone is its unique flip-up camera system that doubles up a selfie snapper. ASUS has launched the phone in India with a price tag of Rs. 31,999.

ASUS launched three versions and they include 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage, 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and they come with a price tag of Rs. 31,999, Rs. 34,999 and Rs. 39,999 respectively. There are two colour variants of the phone and they include Midnight Black and Twilight Silver. The phones will be available for purchase on June 26 via Flipkart.
Specs

The display on the Zenfone 6z is a 6.4-inch IPS LCS screen. The screen which comes without a notch also features full HD+ resolution support. The screen comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. Preloaded on the phone out of the box is Android 9.0 Pie with ZenUI 6 skin. The phone also has a microSD card slot for external storage.

The Zenfone 6z is powered by a Snapdragon 855 processor and it is supported with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. The phone has no camera on the front side. Instead, the phone is fitted with dual-LED flash enabled 48 MP + 13 MP motorized flip-up camera module on the rear. It also packs a 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging. It also comes with 10W reverse charging support.

The phone also has a fingerprint sensor mounted on the rear. Other features of the phone include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB-C, and 3.5mm audio jack. There is also a customized smart key on the phone for accessing the Google Assistant.
