Android has its days numbered! Google Fuchsia is closer

Android, the most popular Mobile Operating System on the planet, still has a lot to give! However, there is always room for improvement, especially in these current times, when users want a large number of smart devices around them.

So it’s time for Google to change the paradigm! Like? With the launch of the new Fuchsia Operating System!

Android has its days numbered! Google Fuchsia is closer

So don’t worry that things are not going to change now! In other words, although we are getting closer and closer to the launch of the new Google Operating System, your final announcement should still be a little far from being a reality.

So … Why such enthusiasm? It’s simple! A part of Fuchsia OS has just been certified! The ‘Google Sapphire 1.0 Bluetooth Core Host Solution’ has just been certified by the Bluetooth SIG.

In short, the certification confirms that things are moving at a good pace, and apparently, in the right direction. After all, ‘Sapphire’ is the name of the new OS’s Bluetooth stack.

However, the certification listing does not reveal anything new, apart from the name and use of the BT 5.0 standard, we do not know anything else.

Why certification now?

This may only mean the start of the certification process. Which in turn means that the launch is much closer to what many think. However, it may also be just something that Google needs to test before moving on to another phase of OS development.

What is Google Fuchsia OS?

We are talking about the successor to Google Android, being developed from scratch to try to avoid all the negative sides of the search giant’s current solution for the mobile world.

This is also why Google decided not to base its new OS on Linux, something it did for Android as well as Chrome OS. Thus, the idea is that this software serves as the basis for any computing device.

Replacing Android will not be easy!

As I said above, Android is the most popular mobile operating system on the planet. So, as you can imagine, removing it from the market to put something completely in its place is not going to be an easy task.

What is clear, increases the levels of enthusiasm around this software! After all, what is Google planning?
