The spread of coronavirus on the planet has caused a lack of daily protection products for doctors and nurses in hospitals, such as masks. Tim Cook announced in a statement that Apple will donate millions of masks to people working in the health field, both in Europe and the US.
Our teams at Apple have been working to help source supplies for healthcare providers fighting COVID-19. We’re donating millions of masks for health professionals in the US and Europe. To every one of the heroes on the front lines, we thank you.

According to US Vice President Mike Pence, 2 million N95 masks have been shipped to America. In addition, there are donations of $ 15 million and a program that will allow those who own an Apple Card not to pay in March without additional taxes.
Similar moves were made by other big companies such as Alibaba which donated masks, test kits, protective suits and face protectors. Finally, Mike Pence said in his speech that all technology companies can help fight the pandemic regardless of whether it is directly related to the health sector.
