The Bluboo D5 Pro is now official and available on shopping stores, the device looks like the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 but comes with midrange specs. A Mi Mix 2 budget killer it is, packing 3GB of RAM, 32GB Storage and retails at a giveaway price.

Design
It looks like the Mi Mix 2 from the rear no doubt, sporting a Metal overall unibody. The company even went further to cover the body exquisitely in glass as well. This device is beautiful and stunning to be honest, weighs just 150g, making it easy to hold and flaunt.
The rear camera sits at the top middle, while the dual-LED flash is present to the left. The fingerprint scanner is at the usual position, the company marked their territory with “Designed by Bluboo” engraving. By the sides, it measures 8.8mm slim and available in Black, Red and Blue colors.
Display
The Bluboo D5 Pro is bezel-less with no top-notch display whatsoever, bringing the selfie camera down to the bottom bezel. Looks like most Mix series from Chinese OEMs. This might not be ideal for those don’t like their selfie camera at the bottom, but it’s easy getting use to.
The screen is stunning as well and displays beautifully, the 5.5-inch IPS JDI capacitive touchscreen boasts of 1280 x 640 pixels in resolution. All the details on the screen should come alive with 260 pixel per inch density. It supports gloved/wet hands as well, while the screen stretches up to 74.8% screen to body ratio.
Hardware and Software
Underneath the D5 Pro is a MediaTek MT6737 chip with Quad-core processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. Disappointingly, the 4-cores of processor could only reach a speed of 1.3GHz with 28nm process technology. In the graphics department, the ARM Mali-T720 MP2 graphics processor is in charge clocking at 550 MHz.
Although it has 3GB of RAM for multitasking, the memory speed seem a little slow reaching just 640MHz. Nonetheless, it packs a massive 32GB Storage space for storing files and apps. You can upgrade as well up to 256GB, while the device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.
Camera
The 13MP rear camera is pretty impressive, it comes with a dual-LED flash and captures 4K resolution images. The Sony camera has Omnivision, ISO settings and other features which helps in capturing photographs with 4163 x 3122 pixels in dimension. Record videos of 720 pixels at 30 frames per second and take cute selfies with the 8MP selfie camera.
Battery
Powering the Bluboo D5 Pro is a 2700mAh Non-removable Li-Po battery with no fast charging technology. Without the fast charging feature, it might take between 2-3 hours to fully charge up the battery from 0% to 100%.
