First, we take a look at the iWork 12’s design. The iWork 12, has a metal frame with a magnesium alloy back, which is great. The dimensions for the Cube iWork 12 are as follow – 302.9 x 194.9 x 9.15 mm, and weighs 930g, which is 315grams more than the iWork 10.

Unlike the iWork 10’s 10-inch IPS display, the Cube iWork 12 sports a bigger 12.2-inch screen. The display resolution on both devices is the same at 1920 x 1200 pixels. However, since the newer iWork tablet has a larger display, the pixel density is lower at 226PPI. Since the display is an IPS type, you get wide viewing angles and clear images.

Hardware, OS & Performance

For processing, you get the Intel Cherry Trail Z8300 quad-core processor with a maximum clock rate of 1.44GHz. This is complemented by an 8th generation Intel HD graphics card which should deliver vivid images as well as fast rendering for games and apps. This combination should deliver grerat performance.

There’s 4gigs of RAM for seamless switching between applications, and 64GB of internal storage. You also have the option of increasing the storage to a further 128GB through a microSD card.

The Cube iWork 12 is still in the line of tablet PCs with a dual Operating System. You get the old Android 5.1 Lollipop OS in addition to Windows 10. This OS combination gives the user a feel of both worlds, and offers you to opportunity to take your work with you.

Cameras

There are two cameras on the iWork 12. You get a 2.0MP snapper at the front and a 5.0MP rear camera. The cameras are just enough for the basic photography and video recording needs.

Battery & Connectivity

There is a non-removable 9000mAh battery included with the Cube iWork 12, which is bigger than the 7500mAh battery that comes with the iWork 10. This is accompanied by a 5V/2A battery charger.

You also get a micro-HDMI port, a micro-USB 3.0 slot and the usual Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, USB OTG and other basic connectivity options.

Conclusion

Just like most of Cube’s other tablets, the iWork 12 offers great promise for a dual OS device. While some modern features like a type-C USB port are missing, this tablet PC still delivers well and can serve for your basic computing needs.
