here has been a group of DEXP phones that were released in the month of March 2018. One of them is the one we want to review here, DEXP B355. This is a 3G Android smartphone with the appearance of an entry-level device. However, it is a little too expensive for its features but we think this is due to the plastic/metal design of the phone.
Apart from this, all other aspects of the phone are reminiscent of entry-level phone features. Consequently, for us to understand the device better, let us look intently at the technical specifications of the DEXP B355.
Design and Display
This phone arrives in metal and plastic body and frame design. Dimensions are 147.3 x 70 x 9 mm and the weight is unspecified for now. It comes in black and rose gold colors. However, this phone has no waterproof protection, no fingerprint sensor and no face recognition technology.
Also, it is a 5.45 inches screen of IPS capacitive multi-touch screen phone, which comes without a secondary display and also without display protection. Further, it sports 960 x 480 pixels of screen resolution. Furthermore, there are 16 million colors, 74.5 percent screen to body ratio, 18:9 aspect ratio, and pixel density is 197 PPI.
Camera Features
There is single primary rear camera setup of 5 MP interpolated to 8 MP that comes with LED flash. Additionally, at the front the selfie camera is 2 MP interpolated to 5 MP, which comes with LED flash also. However, the video performance in the device is 720p.
Camera features in the phone are as follows- Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, auto focus, HDR, and others.
Hardware & Software
The DEXP B355 also sports Android OS as the operating system but we don’t realy get a hang of which it comes with. In addition to that, it comes with MediaTek MT6580M chipset which comes with process technology 28nm, 32-bit architecture. Moreover, the CPU is 1.3 GHz Quad-core Cortex A7, and the GPU is Mali 400 MP2.
Storage Capacity and Sensors
Furthermore, DEXP B355 is entitled to 1GB of RAM which is not able to expand no matter what. At the internal storage level, it comes with 8GB space. It can be increased to 64GB with a micro-SD card. There are three sensors in the phone and they are accelerometer, proximity, and light.
Network and Connectivity
The DEXP B355 is supported by GSM and HSPA and there is no 4G LTE in this smartphone. So it has 2G and 3G available for internet connectivity. The device a 3G compliant mobile device that has dual nano SIM card slot.
As well, network supports of DEXP B355 are Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi, mobile hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, headphone jack and micro USB 2.0. As easily seen, there is no HDMI, NFC and infrared in this phone.
Battery Life of DEXP B355
The battery of the phone is good at a Li-Ion 2200 mAh non-removable that has no wireless charging and no fast charging technology. Talk time and standby time are not specified.
