Design And Display
The Gionee K5 is a new plastic body built phone that has a smooth panel housing the cameras and an LED flash. It also hosts a fingerprint scanner and also a side curved edges. It measures 164.6 x 78.3 x 9.3 mm in dimensions and weighs 196.5 grams.
The device also has a screen display size of 6.53-inches and an IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. The screen has a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, 19.5:9 ratio, and 271 PPI density. There is also display protection on the screen.

On the camera department, the phone has an impressive combo camera of 16 MP and an additional 2 MP for depth sensor. The front camera is 8 MP for selfies and video calling. It has Face ID, Face Beautification, HDR, and can shoot 720@30fps videos, while the main camera can record 1080p@30fps videos.
On the inside is a Mediatek MT6757T Helio P25 chipset that is built on a 16nm process node and also an octa-core processor clocking at a speed of 4×2.3 GHz Cortex-A53 & 4×1.6 GHz Cortex-A53. It has Mali-T880 MP2 for graphics and runs on the Android 9.0 Pie operating system.

The inbuilt storage on the device is up to 128GB and it has 4GB RAM for a nice performance. The memory is expandable via a micro SDcard. The sensors on the Gionee K5 are the Fingerprint sensor (rear-mounted), Accelerometer, and proximity.

The Gionee K5 is powered by a non-removable battery of 3700 mAh without fast charging technology. The battery will last up to 24 hours of standby time.
