HMD Global Launches Enterprise Mobility Management Solution

HMD Global, the maker of Nokia phones, has launched a new service called HMD Pro. It is designed to diversify the company’s services offering further. Combining smartphones and HMD Connect Pro data roaming creates a one-stop shop for people looking for a flexible total solution to their mobility needs.

The Finnish company launched this Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) solution for IoT and enterprise to meet demands in today’s fast-moving EMM market. So if you’re looking for a service that combines smartphones, EMM solutions, and connectivity from just one provider, this is it.

The service enables organizations to manage several Android mobile devices by providing needed apps, setting security policies, and defining what apps are needed or the ones that are not allowed in the system.

The need for this enterprise is growing, as reports have it that about 15 to 20 percent of enterprise devices are now managed with an EMM. So in five to ten years, the growth level of the enterprise will be a huge one.

This growing demand is spurred on by digitalization, the use of commercial off-the-shelf devices in IoT, personal data protection regulation, and overall IT security needs.

The attraction for new users is that they find the HMD Enable Pro easy to use. This statement is true for IoT solution providers, individual users, and enterprise users that consist of small, medium, and large organizations. However, no matter the company’s size or the customer base, this EMM solution is fitting and pertinent to the times we live in, says Andrej Sonkin, General Manager, Enterprise, HMD Global.

The downloadable Nokia Phone OEM Config app enables additional management settings to add, and these settings can apply to specific Nokia devices, such as display and location settings. For example, companies that want more time to test new software and control their devices as a fleet can do so more thoroughly.
