Huawei’s honor brand has added a new smartphonee, the Honor 8 Pro to its Honor 8 lineup of beautiful high-end smartphones. The Honor 8 Pro comes with many impressivve specifications, among which is a dual rear camera setup, a large battery capacity, large memory capacity and the latest in terms of software.

Design & Display
The Honor 8 Pro sports a beautiful and sleek design similar to that of the iPhone 7. The phone is just 6.97 millimetres thick and weighs just 184 grammes, so you don’t need to be worried about extra load in your pocket.
The Honor 8 Pro comes in the phablet section with a 5.7-inch Quad HD (2560 * 1440) LTPS display with 2.5D curved glass and a 515 PPI pixel density.
Storage & Processor
The Honor 8 Pro is powered by Huawei’s flagship Kirin 960 processor with eight cores and a clock speed of 2.4GHz. Its graphics operations are handled by an octa-core Mali G71 GPU.
The phone has a whopping 6GB RAM capacity and 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB using an external microSD card.
Camera
As mentioned earlier, the Honor 8 Pro sports a dual camera setup at the rear. Both have 12MP lenses and a f/2.2 aperture, and the first uses a monochrome sensor while the second uses a RGB sensor. The rear cameras can be used to record videos in 4K resolution.
The phone sports an 8MP camera with a f/2.0 aperture at the front for taking selfies.

A full day’s usage is guaranteed with the 4000mAh battery packed in the Honor 8 Pro, and when it’s drained, you can charge it up for the next day’s use in no time, thanks to the phone’s fast charging feature.
The Honor 8 Pro comes with a USB Type-C port which aids its fast charging and grants it USB OTG feature. The phone comes with a hybrid dual Nano SIM slot which has support for 4G LTE networks.
Software & Hardware
There is a fingerprint sensor at the rear of the smartphone for biometric verification on the phone, and an infrared sensor is present at the front for uses like remote control.
The Honor 8 Pro comes running Android 7.0 Nougat with Huawei’s EMUI 5.1 layered on it out of the box.

Availability and Price of Honor 8 Pro in Nigeria, Kenya & Ghana
The Honor 8 Pro is already available for pre-order on Honor’s online European store, and would go on sale on Amazon from the 20th of April. It will cost 474.99 Pounds in Britain and 549 Euros in Europe, and would be sold later on in India at an undisclosed price.
